Welcome to Repair Rangers ("Platform"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Repair Rangers website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Services").

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

Repair Rangers operates as a marketplace that connects customers seeking maintenance and repair services ("Customers") with independent service providers ("Service Providers") who offer such services. Repair Rangers does not itself provide maintenance or repair services.

6.1 Service Fees

Customers agree to pay the booking fees for services as quoted by Service Providers through the Platform whereby the final amount will be paid once the job is completed to the service provider. All fees are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

6.2 Platform Fees

Monthly subscription fees will be charged to Service Providers by Repair Rangers for active use of the platform. The monthly subscription fee will be communicated to Service Providers during registration and may be updated from time to time.

6.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through our secure payment system. By using our payment services, you agree to comply with our payment policies and the terms of any third-party payment processors we use.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.2 User Content

You retain any rights you may have in Content you submit, post, or display on or through the Platform. By submitting, posting, or displaying Content on or through the Platform, you grant Repair Rangers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such Content.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions regarding the Platform ("Feedback"), you agree that Repair Rangers shall have a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to use and incorporate such Feedback into the Platform without any obligation to compensate you.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. REPAIR RANGERS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

REPAIR RANGERS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERRORS. REPAIR RANGERS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY, SAFETY, RELIABILITY, LEGALITY, OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF ANY SERVICE PROVIDED BY SERVICE PROVIDERS THROUGH THE PLATFORM.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

You release Repair Rangers from all liability related to:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL REPAIR RANGERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PLATFORM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL REPAIR RANGERS' INHERIT LIABILITY FOR ANY WORKMANSHIP, DAMAGES, LOSSES CARRIED OUT BY SERVICE PROVIDERS.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

Indemnification and Liability Waiver by Service Provider

The Service Provider and Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Repair Rangers, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, obligations, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), penalties, and judgments arising out of or related to:

  1. Any acts, omissions, negligence, or misconduct by the Service Provider or its employees, agents, or subcontractors in connection with the provision of services;
  2. Any breach of warranties, representations, or obligations under this agreement by the Service Provider;
  3. Any bodily injury, death, or property damage caused by the Service Provider's actions or services;
  4. Any claims brought by third parties (including customers or governmental authorities) relating to the services performed by the Service Provider;
  5. Any violation of applicable laws, regulations, or industry standards by the Service Provider.

The Service Provider acknowledges and agrees that Repair Rangers acts solely as a facilitator connecting customers with independent service providers, and does not provide, supervise, or control the services rendered by the Service Provider. The Service Provider assumes full and exclusive responsibility and liability for all services performed, including compliance with applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements.

The Service Provider further agrees that Repair Rangers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the services provided by the Service Provider.

13. TERM AND TERMINATION

13.1 Term

These Terms shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Platform.

13.2 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions on the Platform or by contacting us at support@repairrangers.online.

13.3 Termination by Repair Rangers

Repair Rangers may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

13.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

14.1 Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with Repair Rangers, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the dispute informally by sending a notice to support@repairrangers.online.

14.2 Arbitration

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Repair Rangers agree to resolve any dispute through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa.

14.3 Small Claims

Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court rather than through arbitration if the claim qualifies for its jurisdiction.

14.4 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. GENERAL PROVISIONS

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Repair Rangers regarding the use of the Platform.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16.3 Waiver

The failure of Repair Rangers to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without the prior written consent of Repair Rangers. Repair Rangers may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.

Any notices or other communications provided by Repair Rangers under these Terms will be given by posting to the Platform or by email to the address you provide during registration.
